Below are a few pictures of our progress so far.

Static camera: https://www.youtube.com/live/nmGXjouB8kE You are watching a live stream of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for the purpose of watching trains. You are welcome to join our family friendly chat. Please check out the rules below. These cameras are owned and operated by the Oklahoma Model Railroad Association at 4300 N Sewell Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73118. We are a 501(C)3 non-profit organization with a 6,000 square foot HO scale model train layout open to the public for free every Saturday 11:00am - 4:00pm and Sunday 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Please visit https://www.omratrains.org for more information. ABOUT THIS FEED: This is the BNSF Red Rock Subdivision between Arkansas City, KS and Gainesville, TX. The cameras are located at milepost 380.7 "Nowers." BNSF's Red Rock sub is a part of the former Santa Fe mainline between Chicago/Kansas City and Fort Worth/Houston. The camera currently averages 20-25 trains a day (including but not limited to: manifest, intermodal, vehicle, local, unit and grain trains). Foreign power is common as well. Amtrak's Heartland Flyer terminates 3 miles south and does NOT pass the camera. Nowers is a crew change point, so most trains will stop here for a crew change. TRAIN LOG: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_LJM9jytq0VX1zc22TwimzkbjbwNxpv1hUZJNiLB7zk/edit?usp=sharing This log has been running for almost 4 years, documenting every single train that passes the camera with the time it passed and information about each train when available. There is a wealth of information on the spreadsheet, even beyond the main log. Please look through everything to learn more about trains in Oklahoma City on BNSF's Red Rock Subdivision. While some other conversations are okay to a degree, please keep those two subjects the main focus. Avoid making irrelevant small talk just because the chat is quiet. • Weather: It's inevitable in Oklahoma, but please, keep the chat about trains. No one needs you to "warn" us about a watch or "save" them with whatever information you heard on the Weather Channel or a YouTuber about a town 100 miles away. If it is relevant to the camera at the time, *knowledgeable* weather chat is okay, as long as trains come first. Remember to avoid the three I's: irrelevant, incorrect and idiotic. • Please use English, we need a single language to be able to understand each other. If you’re not fluent, use a translator such as Google Translate: https://translate.google.com • Don’t post in ALL CAPS or use excessive emojis, you don't need more than two to get your point across. Don’t discuss politics, religion, race, sex, violence, graphic details about accidents, or anything like that. We try to be mindful of any children who may be watching. • The conversation here is trains, and please remember that it needs to come first. • Please keep conversations of personal issues (medical, domestic, legal, etc.) out of the chat; take it to messaging or email. Remember, you are sharing information with hundreds of people, not just those directly involved in the chat. • Don’t ask to become a moderator. • Please attempt to not write gibberish. Everyone has typos, but don't make it look like you just slammed your head into your keyboard and hit enter. • Please don’t use our chats to seek attention, stand on your soapbox or blatantly advertise your channel, especially if it is not relevant to trains in Oklahoma. • Please, just use common sense and don't be stupid. THINGS THAT WILL GET YOU BANNED: • Inappropriate usernames or avatar • Profanity • Coming into the chat for the sole purpose of asking for subscriptions (subs) or to blatantly promote your channel • Being intentionally disruptive, creating arguments or any other jerk-like behavior • Not following the moderators’ instructions • Blocking a moderator (including Nightbot) • Joining for the sole purpose of spamming about severe weather that is not relevant or doesn't exist. • Not using common sense. The original start date for cameras at this location is 5/26/21 Oklahoma Model Railroad Association's FB page: https://www.facebook.com/OklahomaModelRailroad
